ROW80 Check-In #5…I think.

Has it really been five weeks??  Goodness…

This week was…um…

Well, see for yourself.

Writing?  Nope.  Didn’t do it.  Not a single word on the manuscript.  I did get lots of blogging done – I’m trying to stockpile for when the baby comes, but the WIP suffered.

Exercising?  Nope.  With the exception of Ginger Calem’s bathroom oriented #writersbutt activities (sounds scarier than it is), I didn’t do jack.

Healthy brekkie?  Yep.  But that has more to do with the fact that all the brekkie food in our cupboards is now healthy than actual resolve on my part.  Thank goodness I planned ahead on that one.

Something for myself?  Nope.  Didn’t make the time.  I had great intentions, just didn’t follow through.

I could blame it on bunches of stuff – Birthday Week, pregnancy, gorgeous non-winter-like weather…but really, when it came down to it, I just didn’t wanna.  So I didn’t.  Trying to wrap that up into something prettier than what it is just seems like a waste of time.

Thankfully, every week is a chance to start fresh, right?  🙂

Lots of love to you, ROW80-ers!  Hope this past week was full of successes for each and every one of you!

We all have our ups and downs. You’re preggers girlie! You were bound to slow down. I could hardly drag myself out of bed with the last one. And look at you – stockpiling blogs! I’m proud of you. If you took some time to relax and put your feet up during the week then that would be some you time. Escape with a book if you get the chance. Don’t push yourself too hard. Everything and everyone will still be here when you are full of energy again. 🙂

You do know that you’re pregnant and homeschooling a band of children right? ROW is “the challenge that knows you have a life”, so don’t be too hard on yourself. Kudo’s for the honesty, Myndi, it truly is the best policy.

So, moving forward, you might want to consider adjusting goals a bit, keeping them realistic within the demands of your world, rather than stretching for ones that just aren’t fitting. Better one or two simple goals that keep things moving and maintain your confidence than a host that don’t. Just a thought.

    Have a great week 🙂

Don’t beat yourself up. Not only have I not done anything goal-oriented in the last 2 weeks, I haven’t even blogged about doing nothing! Homeschooling a kiddo & trying to keep a house from falling into hoarding -looking territory while sick was pretty much all I could muster. Ah well, here’s hoping for a better week for both of us!

Some days, weeks, months are better than others. Take the best from each … even if that means doing nothing on your writing … you are a busy lady however you slice it! I stand in awe … seriously … Onward!

You silly girl. Why yes you are working your butt off! You’re incubating! That’s a hard job that no one can do but you girl! It’s not like you can hand that one off to the Hubby, you know what I’m saying. And about at this point you might just hit the wall. But you got your posts in. And I suck for not making it by. I wanted to all week and well it flew by. A thousand lashes with a wet noodle.

Now as far as the exercise. I didn’t do Jack. No Myndi, “It’s Don’t Know Jack”! At least it was this week. LOL!

Take care sweetie. I’m gonna drop down and read the awesome posts that I missed last week. I hate to not be supporting you. See you soon! And get some rest! If that’s possible. 🙂

You have a lot on your plate and I absolutely love your attitude, “Thankfully, every week is a chance to start fresh, right?”
Right you are my friend. Rowing isn’t about getting it all right all the time. You’re awesome. And by the way, I’m a home school mom too.

Just because you didn’t do what you felt would be a productive week doesn’t mean you did a bad job. You still accomplished a ton! I’m proud of you for listening to your body and knowing what would be right for you this week. Good for you! Now, onto the next week to be whatever it’s going to be. XOXO

I like the idea of wrapping it up in something prettier…lol. Your probably right about it being a waste of time though.. haha. I had one of these exact weeks! Glad to know I’m not the only one!
Cheers! Here’s to starting over next week!

You’re kind of like superwoman with all the stuff you do, so don’t be too hard on yourself when a week doesn’t go right. Today starts a brand new fresh week (I’m giving myself this pep talk too), and that means all new possibilities.
