HAPPY BARBIE DOLL DAY, friendlies! Today is the day to rock out to all that Barbie got right – a girl’s need to be a girl. The pictures you sent to me of you getting your GIRLY on were nothing short of fabulous! Scroll through, revel in our collective fun-loving gorgeousness, and pass on the sugary-sweet pink love to every woman you meet today.
Lots of love,
Myn
They’re all beautiful except the one bald bearded lady.
LMAO! “…if that is a woman, she is rather…mannish…”
Wish you’d labeled the pix with names.
Squee! That pic of Sherry Isaac and me riding The Bull at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth is one of my favorites. Our day at the Ft. Worth Stockyards; silly-waiting-to-happen.
They’re all such fun pictures. Thanks for thinking of this great idea.
Ah, Cowgirl Barbies. Texas Barbies. Billy Bob Barbies. Gloria Richard (L) and me. Yee-haw.
Me? I want a Margie Lawson Barbie. http://bit.ly/GAmZdV
Love your post, cowgirl!! And thanks so much for linking my blog to yours – so cool of you!!
You inspired me, Myndi. I would not have known (GASP) that there was a Barbie Doll Day had it not been for you and your blog!
Thanks for posting so many beautiful girly girls… and me.
L O V E your rockin’ bull-riding picture. Awesomesauce to the Nth degree!
Sorry I missed this round. Should have totally taken the pic of Miss Pip doing my makeup. Darn! Great pictures though. Once again, Z’s pic put a huge smile on my face!
No worries, Ginger! Life is crazy!
Love the pics, Myndi. And love all things girly. I got all misty a few days ago looking at pictures of my daughters dressed up for their cousin’s wedding. Something about curls, gowns, and tiaras. 🙂 Always liked Astronaut Barbie myself, but when Midge dressed up in a bridesmaid’s dress…that was a good day. The shoes…
I so would have, too!! I have a feeling it’s going to really hit me when #4 arrives just how grown up SweetZ really is…
That Miss Z and me could totally rock out the girly girl thing! She’s so adorable!!!
I am loving that pic of the girl on the mountain ~ who is that?
And of course, the pic of you and your hubs. Adorable!
This has been fun, thanks for including me (and Zora).
Yes, my dear, I really think you and SweetZ would be hard and fast friends. She’s got her own selection of tiaras that would knock your socks off, and a vampire-esque thirst for all things Disney Princess. 🙂
ANNNND, the girl on the mountain is DEBRA! Isn’t that awesome? You should see the other pic she sent – she’s standing on the edge of quite the precipice!
Debra, as in our sweet Debra Kristi? She’s totally a bada$$. Love her!
Okay, when can I meet SweetZ? We have to bond over tea and go shopping.
How did you know she loves tea? And shopping?
YES. We must make it happen. Just let me pop this new one out first…
🙂
I enjoyed seeing you share these bits of life. Thank you!

Lovely pictures, Myndi! Beautiful indeed!
LOVE it!! Gorgeous, beautiful and FUN!
How fun! Great girly-girl photos! Love the bull riding one and the little girl with the pink kitten heels! Too too cute.

Isn’t the bull-riding one a riot? Love!!
I love the pictures!! Since I’m so behind on my reading of blogs I missed sending in a picture. But I’m so glad I got to catch up today. Love this idea:)
No worries, Kara! Look for another I AM BEAUTIFUL post early this summer – we’ll snag a photo of you (and hopefully your girlies!!) then!! *hugs*
Adorable! I love the bull riding one; that’s priceless!
The last pic reminds me of my niece who is in a stage of wearing dresses EVERYDAY! LOL
Fun pictures! I love seeing the variety of what it means to be a girly girl. It’s different for everyone. Love that!
Nice photos! All sorts of girls are lovely!
I love the gals riding the bull – priceless! Ms. Tameri looks as beautiful as ever in her princess attire. And you, Ms. Myndi, you are glowing! And I don’t mean like a science experiment. I mean in the most gorgeous way possible.
I want to go for tea with you all! You know what I have been holding on to, hoping my little one would want to do a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party? I have a couple boxes of hats from when I produced fashion shows. The girls could have such fun dressing up in their Sunday hats for tea and shopping. Monkey LOVES to shop.
Fantastic post, Myndi.
You are TOO sweet! *hugs* And oh, my goodness, a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party would be a blast! 🙂
Okay my girlfriend Myndi, I think I’ve got the secret code and I’m breaking in under the WordPress wire! I think I’m in! Hooray!
I’m sorry I’m late to the Girly girl party, but better late than never they say. I don’t know who said that, but it works for me. And I am a girly girl. Prissy as all get out. And I know that Barbie has gotten a bad wrap lately for body issues. Whatever. But back in the day, Barbie was the princess of dolls. I had an original Barbie. Yep, my daddy did business with Mattel and got me one of those dolls. And I don’t know where she went. 😦 Oh yes, the stiff arms and legs. That original Barbie didn’t twist. But the funnest thing was her dresses. And her car and house. So cool to be a girl.
Love those pics. I’m not sure about anyone except for Tameri and her crown. 🙂
Do take care Myndi. I know that when I hit my nineth month I hit the wall. Enjoy those kids and I hope everything goes well for you and your husband and new baby girl.
