PINTERESTALOOZA

pinterestaloozaAnybody who knows me even a little teeny-tiny bit knows that I HEART PINTEREST. Pinterest is my happy place (aside from books, of course). Pinterest helps me find heroes and villains for new stories. Pinterest gives the Happy Hausfrau in me new ideas for cleaning my haus. It gives me hotties to drool over and honey-do projects for my Lifetime Hottie. It gives and gives and gives and doesn’t take (well, aside from the time I waste there), and that is why I love Pinterest.

Hence, this little Pinterestalooza. Here are some of my fave finds:

These are from my board CraftyGirl:

*Magnets from bottlecaps. These are ridiculously easy to make, and so frigging cute.

*Frigging fabulous bookends. Get some blocks. Get some plastic toys. Add glue and spray paint and voila! WHIMSY! Zoey and I will be making these as soon as it warms up outside (spray paint indoors is a baaaaad idea people. Speaking from experience here).

These are from my board SaltMine (an inspiration board for a new book I’m working on):

*This is Joby. He belongs to Johanna. Nat gave him to her. He calls Joby ‘Satchmo’. Nat was Johanna’s brother‘s best friend. Johanna used to live like this. Then she lived here. Now she lives here. This woman wants Johanna back, alive. She’s sent this man to find her. He is Johanna’s grandfather, and is the reason Johanna’s brother is dead.

You totally can’t wait to read that story, right?

One of the things I really love about Pinterest, is that it wants my house to be clean as badly as I do!! This is my new favorite shower-cleaning tip, taken from my board, Squeaky Clean.

And y’all know how much I love food. My obsession with Sweet Tooth Wednesday has led me to these babies (on tap for this Wednesday). I took it from my board ME WANT FOOD.

The Hubster likes to joke that I have a pallet-project obsession. He might be right. Most of the projects in my Honey-Do, Would You? board include pallets of some type. Except for this one. This one is pallet free, and a lovely way, I believe, to recycle a piano.

THIS IS THE BEST WHITE ELEPHANT GIFT EVER. Taken from my Gift Ideas board.

Sometimes we just need a little eye-candy. And Pinterest is always willing to oblige. (Taken from my DROOL board)

*Best breakfast ever.

*Oh, Dr. Jones.

*ALL YOUR ARGUMENTS ARE INVALID!

And finally, a REALLY fabulous make-up tutorial on banishing those dark circles from under your eyes. As a mom of four who is in a constant battle with dark circles, I can tell you – these tricks work WONDERS. (Taken from my board Aren’t You Pretty)

Do you love Pinterest as much as me? If you do, you can follow me and my boards here!

Big love,

Myndi
